IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall Over Coastal Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttarakhand

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand today. The Met department has also predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over North East, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and parts of South India today.

Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds is very likely at isolated places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Jharkhand, Odisha, Telangana and West Bengal and Sikkim today.

The weatherman said isolated heavy rainfall is likely to continue over Northwest India during next five days with isolated heavy rainfall over Himachal Pradesh till tomorrow and Uttarakhand till 2nd September.
