Odisha: Dharmendra Pradhan Thanks PM Modi and CM Majhi for increasing SC, ST and SEBC Reservations
NewzVille Desk Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister of the Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, for increasing the reservation for Scheduled Tribes from 12% to 22.50% and for Scheduled Castes from 8% to 16.25% in the state for enrollment in medical, engineering, agriculture and allied technological education courses in Odisha, and for approving the provision of 11.25% reservation for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) students for the first time in the cabinet.
