IMD’s Forecast: Heavy to very heavy rainfall to continue over Northeast and East India

India Meteorological Department – IMD has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall to continue over Northeast and East India during the next 7 days. According to the IMD, heavy rainfall will continue over Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Bihar till the 9th of this month. Meanwhile, Heavy to very heavy rainfall will be present over Tamil Nadu, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 5 days.

The weather agency has also forecast heavy rainfall over Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana tomorrow.
