The first batch of this year’s Kailash Mansarovar Yatra pilgrims arrived in the north-eastern Indian state of Sikkim for their onward journey through the Nathu La Pass.
The first batch of 44 people, including 32 men and 12 women, arrived in Gangtok on Monday evening.
The pilgrims will undergo a four-day acclimatisation programme in Gangtok, following which they will proceed to Gyangze on June 20.
