The Vice President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, addressed the Valedictory Function of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 at the sacred land of Rameswaram, describing it as a living symbol of India’s timeless spiritual and cultural unity.
He said the bond between Kashi and Tamil Nadu is not merely historical, but a civilisational and spiritual continuum that has united Bharat for thousands of years.
Quoting Mahakavi Subramania Bharati, the Vice-President said the Sangamam reflects the poet’s vision of a united, integrated and confident India.
He added that Bharati’s dream is being realised today through Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s far-sighted vision and focused initiatives.
Emphasising the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, the Vice-President noted that initiatives like Kashi Tamil Sangamam strengthen national integration through cultural exchange, shared heritage and mutual respect, guiding the nation towards the goal of Viksit Bharat.
Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Ministerof State, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting L Murugan and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
