Indian Embassy in Oman has said that all 14 Indian crew members from the Indian-flagged mechanised sailing vessel, Virat 1 have been rescued. The vessel had suffered an engine failure off the coast of Oman.
In a social media post, the Embassy said that the crew members are safe and in good health, and are onboard another vessel, MV Jabal Ali 9.
The Embassy informed that the Indian crew members are being headed to Mumbai.
