IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall and Thunderstorms Across Several States

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad, Punjab and Uttarakhand tomorrow.

Parts of Tripura, Rajasthan, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, West Uttar Pradesh and north-eastern states are also expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall during the next 2-3 days.

The weather department further predicted thunderstorms accompanied by hailstorms tomorrow in parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh. Parts of West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Jharkhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, and Telangana are also likely to experience thunderstorms and lightning tomorrow.
