Venezuela continues to recover from the deadly twin earthquakes. At least 3,342 people have died after the quakes, while the number of missing remains unclear.
In the coastal state of La Guaira, authorities have begun mass burials of unidentified victims as rescue operations wind down and recovery efforts shift fully into mourning.
The quakes destroyed nearly 200 buildings and left over 17,000 people homeless across the region. Officials say damage from the disaster is estimated at about $6.7 billion, as the country struggles with overwhelmed infrastructure and ongoing humanitarian pressure.
In Caracas and surrounding areas, grieving families continue searching for relatives in the rubble, while candlelight vigils and church services have become daily scenes of mourning.
