UP Govt. changes school timings amid heatwave conditions

Amid the heatwave conditions, the administration in few districts of Uttar Pradesh has revised school timings for classes 1 to 8 in government, aided, and private schools. District magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar has issued instructions that classes will now run from 7 AM to 12 noon.

The order aims to protect students from extreme heat and remains effective until further notice. In Pilibhit also instructions have been issued to run the school for students from 7:30 in morning to 11:30 a.m. State government had already issued special guidelines for the teachers to help safeguard students from extreme heat, exhaustion as well as heatstroke.
