Cabinet Chief Manuel Adorni under Argentine President Javier Milei’s administration has resigned from his post.

Adorni, a close ally of Milei and the former presidential spokesperson, stepped down on Saturday, only months after being appointed in November.

In a post on X, he said he was “closing this chapter” and leaving “with a clear conscience.”

His resignation comes amid allegations of illicit enrichment and inconsistencies between his declared income and lifestyle.

While Adorni has maintained that his wealth predates his time in office and that all his travel was privately funded, he later acknowledged failing to declare around 500,000 dollars. He subsequently corrected his financial disclosures for 2023 and 2024.
