1. Reassignment of Responsibilities within the Ram Mandir Trust Amidst SIT Probe

Amidst an ongoing SIT investigation into allegations of financial irregularities and misappropriation of offerings at the Ram Mandir, the ‘Dharma Dhwaj’ (religious flag) will be hoisted atop the ‘Sheshavatar’ temple—located within the temple complex—on June 23. Responsibility for organizing this ceremony has been entrusted to Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri and member Mahant Dinendra Das (of the Nirmohi Akhara), replacing General Secretary Champat Rai, member Dr. Anil Mishra, and special invitee Gopal Ji Rao—all of whom had been indirectly sidelined from temple management affairs during the recent controversy. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has been invited as the chief guest, while Brajesh Pathak has been invited as the guest of honor.

2. Janata Darshan: CM Yogi listens to people’s grievances

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today listened to the grievances of the public during the ‘Janata Darshan’ (public hearing). He directed officials to ensure the timely and effective resolution of complaints so that no complainant faces unnecessary inconvenience.

3. Political tussle intensifies over SP’s Brahmin conference

Political activity has heated up regarding the Brahmin conference proposed by the Samajwadi Party (SP) for August 5, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Janeshwar Mishra. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) National President Mayawati has reacted sharply to the SP’s efforts to woo the Brahmin community through this event. She remarked that just as the SP was rattled in 2007 when the Brahmin community aligned with the BSP, a similar situation is unfolding today.

4.  Minor kills elder brother, sister-in-law, and child in Gorakhpur

In a shocking incident in Gorakhpur, a minor killed his elder brother, sister-in-law, and their child due to a family dispute. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, took the younger brother into custody, secured the bodies, and preserved the evidence. The bodies have been taken into possession and sent for post-mortem examinations. Preliminary investigations indicate that the crime was committed by the younger brother of the deceased, Amit Gupta.

5. Massive Fire at Coaching Center in Purniya

A fire broke out at a coaching center near the Aliganj Library in the Purniya area of ​​Lucknow. The massive blaze at the private coaching institute, located within the Aliganj police station limits, caused panic and chaos. Nearby areas were evacuated as a result of the fire. The Chief Minister took cognizance of the incident and directed officials to rush to the site immediately. He also ordered the acceleration of relief and rescue operations and instructed that proper medical treatment be provided to the injured.
