Venezuela has confirmed the death of Tren de Aragua gang leader in a “joint operation” with the United States.
U.S. President Donald Trump said late Friday that the United States carried out a deadly strike targeting the leader of Tren de Aragua, a transnational gang founded in Venezuela.
He said the swift and lethal attack by U.S. military forces on Nino Guerrero was coordinated closely with partners in Venezuela, with whom the United States is working closely.
The United States has designated Tren de Aragua, which is also active in Colombia, Peru and Chile, as a terrorist organization.
