In Nepal, eight people were killed and 15 others injured after a passenger bus fell into a gorge at Selfie Danda in Kavre district today.
Police said the bus was travelling from Banepa to Sungure in Roshi Rural Municipality when it met with the accident near Buchchakot along the BP Highway, about 60 kilometres east of Kathmandu.
The bus was carrying 23 passengers when it fell 200 metres down the hilly road in Namobudhha municipality. The injured people are undergoing treatment at the Dhulikhel Hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the bus accident.
