J&K: Animal Husbandry Dept Celebrates National Egg Day

The Department of Animal Husbandry, Kashmir, on Tuesday observed National Egg Day 2026 at its head office in Gowkadal, Srinagar, to promote awareness about the nutritional benefits of eggs and their importance in a balanced daily diet.

Students from Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kothi Bagh, participated in the programme aimed at enhancing awareness about the role of eggs in daily meals.

The event was held under the supervision of the deputy director central, Animal Husbandry Department, Kashmir, along with other departmental officers and officials.

During the programme, officials interacted with the students and highlighted the health benefits of egg consumption, emphasizing its importance as a nutritious component of a balanced diet.
