Following a one-day recess, the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly’s Budget Session will resume this afternoon. Today, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will pass the budget for the financial year 2026-27.
Prior to this, the House proceedings will commence with the Question Hour, during which several significant issues are set to be raised.
Following the Question Hour, Cut Motions regarding the Demands for Grants in the budget will also be presented in the House for discussion.
Additionally, a significant piece of legislation—the Indian Stamp (Himachal Pradesh Amendment) Bill, 2026—will be introduced in the House.
