External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, who is in Washington DC for the Quad Foreign Ministers’ meet, met FBI Director Kash Patel on the sidelines of the summit. The leaders appreciated the strong cooperation in countering organised crime, drug trafficking, and terrorism.
Dr. Jaishankar also met U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on the sidelines of the meeting in Washington DC. Both leaders exchanged views on the global situation and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Addressing the press in Washington, Dr. Jaishankar said the Quad ministers unanimously agreed on the objective of strengthening strategic stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
