India launches ‘Operation Sindhu’ to evacuate Indian nationals from Iran

Amid the Iran-Israel Tension, Indian nationals were stuck in Iran. India launched ‘Operation Sindhu’ to evacuate them from Iran. India evacuated 110 students from northern Iran who crossed into Armenia under the supervision of Indian Missions in Iran and Armenia on 17 June. The Indian Nationals departed from Yerevan on a special flight and arrived in New Delhi in the early hours of 19 June 2025.

In view of the deteriorating situation due to the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, it’s great thing done by Govt. of India.
