A passenger plane and a helicopter collided on wednesday night near the Reagan National Airport, at Washington DC. It is believed there are no survivors from the collision. Sixty two people are presumed dead out of which twenty seven dead bodies are recovered so far.
On wednesday night, after an American Airlines Flight 5342 approached the Reagan National Airport to land, it collided with an American Army helicopter in mid-air. The crash happened at the Potomac river.
Fourteen people from the skating sports community were also killed in the incident.
Rescue operations are underway. Meanwhile, The White House condoles on its official X account.

This incident is a very sad incident and only the family members who died in this tragedy will know what impact it has on their hearts. May God rest the souls of those who died in this tragedy.
