Guinness world record set on India’s Independence Day in New Jersey

A Guinness World Record for the “Largest Flagpole Number” was set at Veterans Memorial Park in Parsippany, New Jersey, on Saturday, in a joint celebration of India’s 80th Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the United States.

In a post on X, the Consulate General said history was made as the Indian-American community achieved a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Flagpole Number.”

Organized by the Consulate General of India in partnership with FIA and supported by global technology company Zoho, the record-breaking feat brought together key leaders.

The celebrations marked India’s Independence Day, with leaders and governments from across the world joining the festivities and reaffirming their commitment to stronger partnerships with New Delhi.
