A migrant boat caught fire in the English Channel on August 4 early in the morning near the northern French port of Boulogne-sur-Mer. French coastguards rescued 157 people,who were on-board.
The 157 people on board were rescued by 3 French coastguard vessels and are being taken back to the port, authorities said.
5 other people from the same boat had already been rescued by coastguards a few hours earlier, before the larger rescue operation was launched.
