Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has firmly rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s remarks on Greenland, saying the Arctic territory is “not for sale” and will remain part of the Kingdom of Denmark.
Frederiksen reiterated Denmark’s position after Trump renewed his call for U.S. control of Greenland, stressing respect for the territory’s sovereignty and the Greenlandic people’s right to self-determination.
