Japanese Airlines Cancel 120 Flights Ahead of Tropical Storms

Japanese airlines cancelled more than 100 flights on Friday as two tropical storms approached the archipelago, with authorities warning of flooding and landslides in several areas.

Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways cancelled around 120 flights in total, mainly affecting routes to and from Okinawa and Kagoshima.

Local authorities in parts of Kyoto advised thousands of residents to evacuate due to landslide risks, while Osaka and Kyoto warned of rising river levels and potential flooding.
