Landslide on Sikkim-Kalimpong Highway Causes Traffic Movement

Traffic movement has been disrupted due to a landslide on the Sikkim and Kalimpong road, near the Kalimandir area of Baghpul on NH-10. A huge amount of soil and stones fell on the road toay due to the landslide, causing traffic congestion on the national highway.

The administration has reached the spot. Although the work of removing the debris is going on as part of wartime activities, it will take some more time for the road to be completely normal according to the current situation.

Due to the landslide, numerous vehicles are stuck on both sides of the road. The suffering of passengers is also extreme. The administration has ordered to use alternative routes.
