A car lost control and plunged into a deep gorge on the Mussoorie-Kolukhet-Jharipani route near Mussoorie, Dehradun. Four people, including two women, died on the spot.

Responding to the severity of the incident, the SDRF, fire services, and a 108 ambulance team arrived at the scene to conduct a rescue operation and retrieve the bodies from the gorge.

The deceased are reported to be residents of Delhi and Ghaziabad. Preliminary findings suggest that brake failure on a steep slope caused the accident.
