Iran held mass public wedding ceremonies in Tehran for couples enrolled in a state-backed self-sacrifice campaign linked to the war with the US and Israel.

Hundreds of couples participated in public wedding ceremonies across Tehran on Monday after signing up for Iran’s state-sponsored self-sacrifice scheme, pledging readiness to give their lives in the conflict involving the United States and Israel.

According to Iranian media, participants in the scheme committed to supporting wartime efforts through actions such as forming human chains outside critical infrastructure sites including power stations.
