Cessna Plane Crash: Pilot killed in Florida resident yard

The pilot died when a small plane crashed into a Florida resident’s yard and erupted into flames and plumes of smoke on Sunday.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board said that a Cessna C402 aircraft crashed into the yard.

FAA confirmed only the pilot was on board in a flight from Tampa North Aero Park.

Officials said the fire caused by the crash has been extinguished, and a home received some damage.
