Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday chaired a meeting at the Kremlin on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in Russia, a day after announcing an Easter ceasefire in Ukraine.
Putin said that by 2030, AI-driven technologies should be widely implemented across all sectors of the economy, including manufacturing, logistics, energy, governance and education.
On Thursday, Putin announced a 32-hour ceasefire starting and running throughout Orthodox Easter until midnight on Sunday.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has repeatedly proposed an Easter truce, quickly said Kyiv would abide by the measure.
