Mizoram becoming premier adventure tourism hub; Sports Department Launches Paragliding Take-off site

Mizoram is actively positioning itself as a premier adventure tourism hub, with a significant focus on aerosports, particularly paragliding, by establishing infrastructure, hosting international events, and framing regulations.

In an initiatives taken by the Sports Department, Prof. Lalnilawma, Minister of State, RD, PHED, DM&R, today inaugurated the Champhai District Aerosports Association Paragliding Take-off site, Eco Cultural Park at Tlangsam village.

Champhai district Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aaquib and Mizoram Aerosports Association President J. Vanlalliana also attended the inaugural function.
