Parliament Budget Session to end today with key bills, reports

The second phase of the Budget session of Parliament will end today. In the Rajya Sabha, the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization (Amendment) Bill, 2026 will be discussed and passed. The bill has already been approved by the Lok Sabha.

Additionally, documents from various ministries will be tabled, and the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report will be presented. Ministers will also make statements on education, women and child development, sports, and housing.

Meanwhile, the Lok Sabha will begin with the Question Hour, followed by the introduction, discussion, and passage of the Central Armed Police Forces (General Administration) Amendment Bill, 2025, which has already been passed by the Lok Sabha.
