The U.S. military carried out a strike on an alleged narco-trafficking vessel in the Caribbean Sea, killing four people.

The U.S. Southern Command stated on ‘X’ that the vessel was traveling along known narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was involved in drug-smuggling operations.

The operation resulted in the deaths of four alleged drug smugglers, with no U.S. military personnel harmed.

Since September, when the U.S. began targeting alleged narco-terrorists, at least 163 people have been killed, with 45 strikes conducted on such vessels so far.

Last week, the U.S. military also carried out a kinetic strike on another suspected drug-smuggling boat in the eastern Pacific, which left two people dead.
