A commendable community initiative titled “Ram Rasoi” has been launched in Sainik Colony area of Jammu by the Shri Ram Leela Club, aimed at supporting underprivileged families while spreading awareness about the careful and judicious use of LPG gas.

Functioning like a community kitchen, the initiative provides meals to the needy using traditional cooking methods such as chulhas, thereby promoting reduced dependence on LPG and encouraging the use of alternative resources. The effort underscores the importance of responsible consumption and sustainable practices.

The initiative comes at a time when the Government of India is focusing on ensuring smooth supply and efficient management of essential resources, alongside encouraging public awareness and cooperation.

“Ram Rasoi” not only serves as a support system for those in need but also conveys a strong message of unity, social responsibility, and collective effort. It highlights how community-driven initiatives can effectively complement administrative measures in resource management.

Local residents have widely appreciated the effort, describing it as a symbol of service, social harmony, and responsible citizenship.
