President Trump announced that the U.S. Navy would “soon” begin escorting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, without specifying a timeline. Asked about the potential duration of the war, he declined to estimate, saying, “It’ll be as long as it’s necessary.”

His remarks have contributed to fluctuations in oil prices amid uncertainty over the conflict.

On Friday, heavy blasts shook Tehran after the United States pledged to intensify air strikes, while Iranian state media reported a new round of missile launches toward Israel. Israeli rescue workers reported no casualties.

Meanwhile, the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon continued. The Lebanese Health Ministry stated that an Israeli strike on a primary healthcare center in southern Lebanon killed at least 12 medical personnel on Friday.
