Mizoram: GAD announces traditional dress code for officials before Chapchar Kut

General Administration Department (GAD) has issued a statement introducing a dress code for the upcoming Chapchar Kut, the largest festival celebrated in Mizoram.

According to the notice, all government servants working under the Government of Mizoram are required to wear traditional Mizo attire beginning today until Friday, the day the festival is observed.

The department has also instructed Administrative Heads and Heads of Departments to take the necessary initiatives to ensure the directive is followed across their respective offices.
