U.S. President Donald Trump said he is not interested in negotiating with Iran and suggested that the conflict might only conclude once Tehran no longer has a functioning military or any remaining leadership in power.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One on Saturday, Donald Trump stated that the ongoing air campaign could render negotiations irrelevant if all potential leaders of Iran are killed and the Iranian military is destroyed.

Meanwhile Israel’s military confirmed its strikes on the fuel storage facilities, marking a significant escalation as video footage showed the Tehran skyline illuminated by the explosions. This appears to be the first attack on a civilian industrial site during the current hostilities.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that there would be “many surprises” in the ongoing military engagement.
