Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro on Thursday said he is open to cooperation with Washington after weeks of American military pressure.

In an interview on state TV, Maduro stated he is willing to hold dialogues “wherever and whenever the US wants.”

To date, Maduro has not confirmed a US land strike on a docking facility in Venezuela, which US President Donald Trump claimed targeted drug boats on Monday.

Trump said the United States hit and destroyed a docking area used for alleged Venezuelan drug operations but did not specify whether it was a military or CIA action or the exact location, noting only that it occurred “along the shore.”
