Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s health has deteriorated since her hospital admission, a member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party said.
The 80-year-old leader was admitted on November 23 with symptoms of a lung infection and is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.
She served as the Prime Minister from 1991 to 1996 and 2001 to 2006.
