Hongkong Police have arrested the top bosses of a construction company on a suspicion link to the city’s Wang Fuk Court Complex Fire cases. The authorities confirmed of 83 dead and nearly 300 missing list.
Yesterday’s fire was the deadliest in 80 years. The residential complex was on a renovation and was wrapped in a bomboo scaffolding and green mesh.
The survivors facing the problems and staying in tents, as there is not much scope to stay nearby. Volunteers are providing food and essential to the survivors.
Amid the heat and thick smoke fire fighters faced huddles to enter the residents feared trapped on the upper floors. The fire fighters were using the search lights to get into the charred areas.
According to the South China Morning post 83 confirmed death. It is the deadliest after the fire broke in a warehouse in 1948.
John Lee, Hongkong’s leader said that the government will set up a USD 39 million fund to help the residents. Big companies like Xiomi, Xpeng, Gelly, and Alibaba also announced to donate for the residents.
