Russian Drone and Missile Strikes Kill 10 in Ukraine

A massive overnight attacks of Russian drones and missiles killed 10 people and injured dozens across Ukraine, striking residential areas. In Ternopil, two nine-story apartment blocks were hit, leaving at least 37 people injured, including children, as crews searched the rubble for survivors.

Ukraine reported that Russia launched hundreds of strike and decoy drones along with dozens of missiles. The attacks came as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy travelled to Turkey for talks aimed at advancing efforts toward a possible settlement. Meanwhile, Russia said, debris from intercepted Ukrainian ATACMS missiles struck civilian sites in Voronezh.

President Zelensky informed in a social media, “It is confirmed that Russia launched more than 470 attack drones and 48 missiles of various types against Ukraine overnight – one ballistic and the rest cruise missiles.”

“In Ternopil, residential nine-story buildings were hit, causing fires. Unfortunately, there is significant destruction, and there may be people trapped under the rubble. All necessary emergency services are on the ground, trying to save every life. As of now, dozens of people have been injured and, sadly, 9 people have been killed. My condolences to their families,” he said.
