The death toll from the sinking of a boat carrying Rohingya refugees off Malaysia’s Langkawi island has risen to 29 after rescue teams recovered two more bodies on Wednesday.

The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency said both victims were male, and their remains have been handed over to the authorities.
