Bangladesh’s International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has sent 15 army officers to jail.

They are accused in three separate cases of enforced disappearances, killings, and other crimes against humanity allegedly committed during the Awami League regime.

A three-judge bench headed by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Majumder rejected bail pleas after hearing prosecution and defense arguments.

Earlier, Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam submitted formal charges, urging trials proceed.
