Flights resumed at Dhaka airport late Saturday evening, hours after a fire in the cargo section delayed flights and halted operations earlier that day.

Flight operations resumed once the fire was completely brought under control. Operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport were suspended after the fire broke out in the cargo section. The army, navy, and air force joined the fire service in efforts to extinguish the blaze.
