Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Saturday that the Gaza conflict would end once the leadership of Hamas is eliminated.

In a post on X, Netanyahu accused Hamas of repeatedly undermining ceasefire efforts. He claimed that the group’s leaders, based in Qatar, are indifferent to the suffering of the people in Gaza and have intentionally blocked all ceasefire attempts to prolong the conflict indefinitely.

His remarks came shortly after Senator Marco Rubio told reporters that although President Donald Trump was “not happy” about the strike in Qatar, the alliance between the U.S. and Qatar would remain unaffected.
