A high-power 8.8 magnitude earthquake off Russia’s eastern Kamchatka peninsula hit Tsunami waves of upto 5 meters (16 ft) today. An evacuation order signaled to the residence in Hawaii and across the Pacific as well.

The earthquake damaged buildings, several people injured in the remote Russian region.
