CISF Recovers Pistol and Live Ammunition at Mandi House Metro Station

Vigilant personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) detected a country-made pistol along with a live cartridge during security screening at Mandi House Metro Station on today, preventing the prohibited weapon from entering the Metro network.

At around 10:11 AM , the weapon was detected during the routine frisking of a passenger identified as, a resident of , Uttar Pradesh.

CISF personnel immediately secured the individual and informed the Delhi Metro Rail Police (DMRP), Supreme Court.

Delhi Police personnel promptly reached the station and took over the passenger and the recovered weapon.

Subsequently, teams from the Delhi Police Special Cell and Crime Team also arrived at the spot to conduct a detailed investigation.

Further legal proceedings are being carried out by the Delhi Police.
