India sends relief supplies, medicines and medical equipment to Vnezuela

Relief materials carried through IAF's two C17 Aircrafts

Two C17 Aircrafts of Indian Air Force took-off today for Venezuela with urgent assistance to support the post-earthquake relief efforts.

The assistance contains an Indian Army Field Hospital Unit and over 35 tons of relief supplies, medicines and medical equipment, including two BHISHM Cubes.The mobile hospitals are specifically designed for the rapid deployment of critical care in crisis situations.

External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar shared the information on “X” saying “India is committed to support the Government and people of Venezuela in this difficult time.”

On wednesday Venezuela faced twin strong earthquakes. The death toll rises to 589 and still thousands of people are beneath the rubble. Venezuela is getting lots of supports and assistance from around the world.
