India A clinched a 66-run victory over Sri Lanka A in the final to win the Tri-Nation A series in Dambulla on Sunday.
Fifteen-year-old sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was the star of the show, smashing an incredible 29-ball 94 with 8 sixes, 10 fours to power India A to a mammoth total of 377/9. He was adjudged as the player of the match.
The Universal Baby Boss, Sooryavanshi completed his fifty in just 11 balls, which is List A record.
Captain Tilak Varma slammed crucial half centuries and Anukul Roy also played his part to score important 39runs from 15 balls.
In response, India A bowled out Sri Lanka A for 311 in 47.1 overs. Pacer Yash Thakur and spinner Vipraj Nigam led the wicket tally with three scalps each.
Sadeera Samarawickrama and Wanuja Sahan slammed half-centuries, putting up a fight for Sri Lanka A,they could not able cross the line.
