Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced the development of a new railway station — Shri Khatushyam Ji Sundarpura near the revered Shri Khatushyam Ji temple in Rajasthan.
The new station will be developed 11 km from the temple, significantly improving rail connectivity for devotees visiting the pilgrimage site.
Indian Railways is prioritising modern, passenger‑centric infrastructure with special emphasis on enhancing connectivity to important cultural and religious destinations across the country.
The station has been thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of the crores of devotees who visit Shri Khatushyam Ji every year, offering improved facilities and convenience for pilgrims.
The proposed site has been identified and the station design finalised, with construction work expected to commence in the coming months.
The new Shri Khatushyam Ji Sundarpura railway station will enhance accessibility for devotees, strengthen pilgrimage connectivity, and reflect the Government’s commitment to developing world‑class infrastructure around major centres of faith and cultural heritage.
