FIFA World Cup: Colombia, England and Ghana win; Congo DR draws Portugal 1-1

Colombia, England and Ghana won their group stage matches where as Congo DR denied Portugal with a draw.

In a Group L match England beat Croatia 4-2 to in a pact stadium at Arlington, Texas. Harry Kane for England adjudged player of the match who scored two goals at 12′ and 42′.

In the other group L match at Toronto, Canada, Ghana won to Panam by a solitary goal by Caleb Yirenkyi.

Colombia beat Uzbekistan 3-1 in a thrilling Group K match played at Mexico City. Daniel Munoz scored the first goal of the match on 40′ to give the South American country lead. The equalizer came on 6oth minute by midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev.

Colombia siezed the match scoring two more goals.

After getting 75% ball possession by Portugal, Congo DR denied them with a 1-1 draw. Portugal team were jubilant when Joao Neves scored at the 6th minute of play. But Y. Wissa of Congo had aN equaliser with support from A. Masuaku. The Group K match was played at Huston.
