On the second day of his Evian visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, on the sidelines of G7 Summit.
Both the leaders reviewed the progress made in bilateral engagement. They also discussed ways to further cement bilateral cooperation by working together in trade, investments, circular economy, defence, IT and more. They also talked about boosting cultural linkages between the two nations.
PM Modi also met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, before leaving for Paris on the second day of his visit to Evian.
