Modia to hold bilateral meetings with several world leaders

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Évian, France, today to participate in the G7 Summit, the third leg of his Europe visit.

During his two-day stay, he will exchange views with G7 leaders, as well as leaders from invited partner countries and international organizations.

He will participate in summit sessions on “Forging New Partnerships and Rebuilding International Solidarity,” “Reviving Balanced, Shared and Sustainable Economic Growth for All,” and “Ensuring a Safe, Rapid and Efficient Rollout of AI.”

On the sidelines of the summit, the Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with several world leaders, including his counterparts from Canada and the United Kingdom.

Prime Minister’s presence at the G7 reflects India’s standing as a leading voice of the Global South and a key partner in addressing global challenges.

Ahead of the visit, he also stressed that, at the G7 Summit,India will always focus on giving voice to the aspirations of the Global South.
